me and a group of friends are looking for a beach house to stay in, in NJ. The only problem is the min stay for most houses are a week. let me know if there are any websites that i can get a house for 1 week.

My family would like to rent a beach house or condo in Florida or the surrounding states. What are some towns/cities you would suggest. We live in Kentucky and would like somewhere within a one day driving distance. So pretty much anything north of Tampa/Orlando. Preferably under 10 hour drive would be great. I want to go on a road trip with my friends after graduation and stay in a house on a beach we will rent. They’re all 17 and 18 years of age and are allowed to stay in most states. What east coast states would permit me to stay in this beach house?
Probably not a state issue as much as it is an issue with the person/company renting the property. Most 16 year olds would likely want to rent a place to have a party.
Means a few things -
1. Underage drinking. Somebody gets killed or hurt as a result, there will undoubtedly be lawyers going after the person stupid enough to rent to teenagers.
2. Property damage. What are the odds that a bunch of teenagers with no adult supervision would damage your property?
It’s not worth the risk.
That being said, if you had enough $, you might be able to get someone at a place like Hampton Beach, NH or Old Orchard Beach Maine to rent you a cottage on/near the beach. You would probably need to pay cash (not credit) in advance and provide a substantial cash security deposit. I’d look on craigslist. Those types of folks don’t have a web site or use realtors.
Even the crappiest beach houses in New England rent by the week and cost over $1500/week.
My eight year old Daughter wants the Hannah Montana Malibu Beach House for Christmas. I am thinking she might be too old for it, or at least to spend over a hundred dollars on it. What do you think?
wow, its 100 dollars?! i had no idea. I do not think your daughter is too old, but 10 yrs is pushing it. However, if you do end up spending that much, like any other kid, they will love it for a few weeks or so but then it will be a thing of the past. I would not spend that much money. There are a bunch of other hannah montana toys out there that you can buy.
