From what I know I would say that the WorldWideWeb was invented to share information between allies intially but then formed into a source of information and circulation of data/file transfers.

I think that it was creating a well ordered society and moral, social, political, philosophical and religious developments in which how people lived… am I right? What should I expand upon?

It tried to keep order and prevent chaos, essentially, but it’s failures also allowed for foreign religions and belief systems to make their way into China. (Especially Buddhism.)

If you’re writing an essay, I think the easiest thing to do would to be expand on it’s impact on the governing of China.

The development of man made fire which in turn lead to metal working. The development of writing which allowed ideas to preserved and widely disseminated without people having to memorize them. The taming of the horse which totally transformed Eurasia by allowing vastly greater mobility and allowing the spread of settlements and the expansion of trade.

The three events, themes or developments contributed most to the creation of a truly global history anf their significant.

Remember Campbell reinforced how important the French Revolution was. I would also argue against the American Revolution because as much as some may like to think, the US is not the be all and end all.

This in mind I would say the following, in no particular order:

1) The French Revolution
2) The Industrial "Revolution"
3) The Cold War (advent and partial downfall of Communism, and all that)

I would suggest reading chapter VI (p.155+) in the McNeill book. A lot of good information on trade in there which I think will come in handy.

As long as you can explain why whatever you picked are the most important, you will be fine.

that depends on what do you consider "early." the most significant transition in early China is the move from democratic leadership (elected leaders,) to dynastic rule. China adopted bronze in 4000 BC, but that was before the dynasties. the innovation of the Xia (2100BC to 1700BC) dynasty includes the placement of the classic 6 ministry system under the king, more advanced bronze technology, nobility, ettiquete, courtly music, and basic law, social classes. the Shang dynasty (1700BC to 1100BC) includes the master of the bronze art, furthur developement on government structure, 5 class noble system, strict code of ettiquete, full orchestra including 8 catagories of musical instrument (percussion, strings, etc.,) advanced law, and regional administration.
