Photo slide show and video clip:
Here is more proof that the failure Builders and architects form California float their way down to Phoenix where ignorance and hackery run wild!
Of course the obvious LACK OF BUILDING CODE ENFORCEMENT is evident here!
In this case they decided it was a good idea for any new Phoenix area home over a certain square footage to be required ot have fire sprinklers!
Except these ignorant folks allow the installers to mount the (PLASTIC) PVC PIPE to the service catwalk for the furnace/air handler in the attic!
Many of times a technician unknowlingly is stepping on a sprinkler and breaks it, causing the home to be flooded by time he can get out of the attic and find the gate valve type water shut off doesn’t work!
Sometimes you don’t even need to step directly on the pipe to break it. becasue they mount the crap all over the catwalk or on false studs. Then the catwalk that is built out of TOO THIN of material will flex under a techs weight and then break off a nearby plastic pipe!
The Phoenix/ScottsdalePeoria/Mesa/Anthem etc areas are really bad. About the worst in the entire USA!
