August 14, 2010 - 6:54 am No Comments

http://www.charlotte-homes-forsale.com Charlotte home for sale in beautiful Meyers park real estate this 3 story luxury townhouse condominium with a private gated parking and 5480 square feet of living space close to down town and easy access to the airport and expressway. Coming in to the living room area the former living room as you can see the area is lot of light not only from the atrium which does provide light on both floors of the house but you have a large bay window area in the front of the house which is quite nice which can seal you pushes out in front in the spring quite beautiful. A lot of wall space throughout this room. We also have lots of indirect lighting so that the room is always comfortable. Leading off of the living room is a bar area which has a granite counter cups. It has birds eye maple love in it cabinets trimmed in black eppany. You have display cases and plenty of power space in this area you have this stainless steel bar sink. You also have two stainless steel features, one is a refrigerator-freezer combination. The other is a 36 bottle wine keep which is nice. You also have under counter storage area. You also have a wall storage area. Again the matching bird’s eye maple and eppany. You have plenty of space of lots and lots of glassware. We have enjoyed using this space to entertain. As you come back out to our living room the former living room walk down the hall and you come to our atrium. This atrium is a two-story atrium filled with glass and light. I have it used for plants as you can probably tell I enjoy my plants. We had this room done on a drip mist system. So again when it’s time for you to travel the timer takes over and you don’t need to worry. It goes to both floors three sides of glass plus six skylights, large fan and lighting. Coming back out in to the hallway on our way to the back of the house we have our former dining room. One wall of glass from the atrium and we have two outside windows backed by our hollies which gives us a nice green background year round, privacy again. Shatters on the windows to match those in front of the house. Our dining room will accommodate easily 16 wide space for buffet and etc, and also the wall here in the hallway will help. This leads of to a den which we use it for t.v. It’s a little darker than the rest of the house so that we can have a more of a surround theater sound and feature with a flat screen t.v. We also go in to our kitchen. The kitchen is done again in hardwood flooring. The hardwood flooring goes throughout the first floor to the back sun room. Our kitchen has a stand alone bar counter top serving area. The counter tops in the kitchen are Korean black on the bar and vanilla or cream on the rest of the cabinets for contrast. We also have in best back splashes. We have tumbled travertine with pewter in sets. The cabinets are cherry. This cabinets has stainless steel pulls. These are unfinished they have never been sealed. So, they are natural cherry, they have plenty of space for dishes any other items you’d like to store. These are all adjust spoke shelving areas. Continuing in the kitchen you have your sink. We also have in the kitchen we feature most, most kitchen won’t have and that’s a dumb waiter which will go between the main floor of the house down to the garage area. It’s quite convenient for hop bringing up groceries etc in to the kitchen. We also have in the kitchen a two G.E. profile top refrigerator bottom door freezer units above cherry cabinets. We also have specially designed for this kitchen and island hood that’s stainless steel. You also have 1600 cfm air ventilation so he can be assure that there won’t be no any odors wafting into any other areas of the house. Here in the center island you have your gas decor cook-top. This is a 6-burner cook top with very few part that has to be clean and washed. Each drawer has been designed so that has it’s own special use. This is the knife drawer which you can see has several built-in knife features for storing your knives. All of the doors are pan pull-up doors. All doors in the unit underneath are cook top also pull-up pans. We have an appliance wall here with two convection ovens, your microwave. You also have a heating drawer I don’t know what I have to do without this thing it’s wonderful. And you have your compactor. Your kitchen sink area opens out on to the sun room so you have a nice deal of doing dishes. Your pfisher pay call drawer system is wonderful. I really enjoy it with two of us. It takes us a day or two to filled with one drawer well that’s washing I have another drawer open and available to be used.

Greg Holden – The Not My Living Room Series Part 9

August 11, 2010 - 5:08 am 25 Comments

From my Living Room!!!

So I hope you guys all liked the video for The Art Of Falling, everyone involved was overwhelmed by the response you all gave so thank you so much, now they’ll definitely help me for free again! ;) haha… Only kidding guys, I’ll try and pay you next time!

So here is Part 9 of The Not My Living Room Series. This is a brand new song that has temporarily been named ‘Blankets’. I wrote it last night with a friend of mine called Richard Causon. A great writer who actually wrote and played for Ryan Adams for a while. Ryan Adams is one of my favourite artists so Richard and I had a cool time writing this last night. I don’t do many co-writes so this was great fun :) go over to www.gregholdenonline.wordpress.com for more stuff on that and some other stuff that’s going on with me right now.

Anyway I hope you guys like it, let me know if you do or don’t! I just want to say again, I wouldn’t be doing some of the things I’m doing right now if it wasn’t for every single one of you. I love you all so much and will be posting intimate youtube videos for you for the rest of my career.

By the way, my friends band, Failsafe, have just released their 2nd album and it’s f***ing amazing. They’re all over MTV2 and Kerrang right now but should be all over everywhere if I’m honest. They’re good friends of mine from back home and I want everyone to know about them. So go and check them out right away. www.myspace.com/failsafemusic DO IT!!!

Speak to you all soon. Oh, and for those of you in London, I am playing on the 27th November at the Soho Revue Bar. It’s my first show in 3 months so if you can make it, amazing! It’s over 18s which is worth making note of.

Here are the lyrics too, Greg xx

Blankets-

Four Seasons pass but it still stays the same
Never you mind as I do this again
You hit the road whilst the sun was still low
Taking your chances with nowhere to go

Don’t you worry what to do

We see now, Blankets are fallen down
Trouble’s still ours somehow
But how?

Memories drift like the clouds pass the moon
Everything’s broken ‘cos I spoke to soon
Tell me your stories and I’ll tell you mine
The stakes aren’t so how
We can lose the white lies

Don’t you worry what to do
Don’t you worry what to do

We see now, Blankets are fallen down
Trouble’s still ours somehow
But how?

Thanks guys!

Greg xxx

How To Set Up a Home Office Without an Extra Room

August 11, 2010 - 5:08 am 25 Comments

Expand the description and view the text of the steps for this how-to video.

Check out Howcast for other do-it-yourself videos from rsansivero and more videos in the Home Office category.

You can contribute too! Create your own DIY guide at http://www.howcast.com/videos/new or produce your own Howcast spots with the Howcast Filmmakers Program at http://www.howcast.com/filmmakers/apply.

With more and more people trying to make a solid living at home, it’s important to know the best way to set up a home office — even if you don’t have a spare room.

To complete this How-To you will need:

The corner of a room
A desk
Shelves
Storage space
A filing cabinet
Organization skills

Step 1: Find your spot

Find the best spot by factoring in privacy, space, and lighting. The best spots are corners in well-lit rooms that can be closed off with a door, like a bedroom or dining room.

Step 2: Set up your desk

Set up a desk that doesn’t dominate the room. Consider a corner desk to make the best use of space.

Tip: Place your desk near a window. If you have a work-at-home job, you probably don’t get outside much. Natural light will help brighten your mood.

Step 3: Put up shelving

Install shelves on the walls around your desk to store your supplies.

Step 4: Store files in space you already have

Use the space beneath a bed, the floor of a closet, or the space under a table to store files. If you use a filing cabinet, find one whose top you can use for surface space.

Tip: If your office space also serves as a bedroom or a dining room, use a fold-away table.

Step 5: Tell people it is your office

Tell other members of your household that this area is your office. Be strict about what they can and can’t do around it and tell them to respect you when you’re working.

Step 6: Limit distractions

Limit your distractions by not having a TV in the room, and by staying far enough away from communal areas to afford privacy and peace.

Step 7: Be organized

Organize your area so that you can find what you need quickly. You’ll take your at-home job more seriously if you treat your surroundings seriously.
