What style should I start wearing next year?

August 6, 2010 - 1:47 pm 1 Comment

I know it sounds dumb but I need a new clothes style because I don’t like my boring clothes style now. I’m going into 6th grade and I need to do somethin’ with my hair too because it goes up to my shoulders and I have side bangs that barely even work so I need a new hair style! Please tell me and don’t be sarcastic please! And remember, I can’t get ecsentions because my mom won’t let me.

…just go to different stores and buy what you like.
you don’t need have the stereotypical punk, etc, styles. those would be boring anyway.

What is the most comfortable style of undies to wear?

August 6, 2010 - 1:47 pm 8 Comments

I hate wearing underwear because most of them are not comfortable…most of the time I wear a thong. I wear regular undies during my period.

I want to go undie-shopping but I don’t want to waste money on ones that may turn out to be tight or uncomfortable.

What’s the most comfy style for you?

And please no one call me a pervert or anything…I really just want to know which style is more comfy so I don’t waste money on ones I won’t find comfortable.

Go to any Target store ~ or ~ www.target.com.

There’s quite a wide assortment of styles (bikini, hipster, boy shorts, etc.) and different colors, all at very reasonable prices. I bought my daughter some last Christmas and she thought it was the most comfortable and well-fitting underwear. Since then, she and all of her friends (in their 20′s) buy their underwear there because of comfort, style, and price !!

Can same style-different colored shirts labeled the same size still differ in size?

August 6, 2010 - 1:47 pm 4 Comments

When I buy two same style but different colored shirts, one shirt still sometimes feels bigger than the other.
Why is that?

Yes, the shirts being a different size is normal. Even though they are the same style they might have been made differently when being made and thus making one shirt a slightly different size than the other. Not completely the same, but this happened to me with shorts once. I wanted the same style of shorts, but one in a dark wash and one in a lighter wash. When I tried on the dark wash they fit perfectly, but when I tried the lighter one, they barely got to my waist and trying to button them was torture. I made sure they were both the same size and they were. So, back to the point, it is very common for that to happen.

How much did your style change from your high school years to your mid twenties?

August 6, 2010 - 1:44 pm 2 Comments

How much did your style change from the years you spent in high school, to your style in your mid twenties? Did it stay the same or change greatly?

I’m only 23 (will be 24 later this month) and it’s already changed quite a bit. It changed around my second year of college. In high school I wore "comfort" items like hoodies, occasionally sweats, sneakers, etc.
Nowadays, I find that I HATE shirts with hoods. I never wear sneakers, etc.
In college and now that I’ve gotten out and went through grad school, I’ve found that my personal style is a lot more put together than it was then. Also, in my life I’m a professional and I find it easier to look the part. I’m also a BIG fan of bold jewelry and other accessories when I wasn’t as a teen. It’s odd. I have to say that I feel much more natural about it now than I did then. Back then, I worried more about what people thought. Now, I worry less and still look much more elegant, chic and sophisticated (at least in comparison).

What is a good style for school that is not so normal but not to out-there?

I guess the word im looking for is unique. Like when I say style, I mean clothing, that can include accesories, hair, and shoes. And if you do write me a hair style, do you have any tips to put it back easier for when i have gym? Because i have to always put my hair in a ponytail, and then i have to change back and i dont want it to be difficult to put back my hair. Thank you!

A really easy hairstyle can change the way you look, put your hair in high ponytail and then tie a ribbon on it. For clothes, well flats are really easy to change in and out of I mean you just slip on slip off so maybe a cute pair of flats, skinny jeans are in style right now but they are pretty hard to put on and off, so maybe just a pair of dark shorts. Halter tops work best for clothes all you do is untie the knot and take it off the other way so i doesn’t even touch your hair. Most schools don’t allow halter tops so just wear a light white jacket over it :)

What is the best way to style scene hair without causing much damage to your hair?

August 6, 2010 - 1:43 pm 3 Comments

I’m planning on getting scene hair soon and I wanted to know ways I could style my hair. I’ve heard of many ways but those ways were very damaging, and I’d like to keep my hair healthy. So is there any way to style it without causing much damage. And what do you tell the hairdresser when you go to get your hair cut? What drugstore products are really good too use for styling your thin hair in the scene hairstyle.

well if you want colors, I strongly suggest just getting some clip in ones. You can remove them when you wish, and the dye won’t damage your hair. Plus, if you get bored of them, you just take them out.

Use a really mousterizing shampoo and conditioner, and a heat protecting spray. If you backcomb your hair, only do it a little, and use a light hair spray. I forget the name, but its like AntiGravity by either Calvin or Kevin something. Its makes hair healthier, stay clean longer and works like magic.

What style of handwriting is better to use in business, print or script?

August 6, 2010 - 1:43 pm 3 Comments

In your opinion, what style of handwriting is more professional in the business world Script or Print?

If you have very neat script use that. If not, use print. Generally you just want to use whatever is neatest and most legible.

What is a good style of martial arts for me to learn?

August 6, 2010 - 1:41 pm 6 Comments

I’m 5’11”, and 160 pounds. I’m a teenager, and female, but I have a fairly good amount of upper body strength for someone of my stature and gender. I know that I have to find a dojo somewhere in my area, which isn’t exactly easy. I started learning Kung Jung Mu Sul blended with Kick Boxing, but my instructor can’t teach me anymore, so I wanted to pick up a new style, because I felt it would be easier than to continue with a style that few people are even aware exists.

you should check out Capoeira. my lil bro has been doing that for like 8 years he has a few other blackbelts but loves this style
Capoeira was developed in Brazil, but its history extends to Africa and tribes from Angola. Slaves living on Brazilian plantations who weren’t allowed to openly practice traditional forms of self-defense developed an ingenious method of disguising their training by combining it with dance-like movements, singing, and the rhythms of primitive instruments. The result was a "game" of fluid ground movements, spinning kicks, and daring acrobatics set to the energetic clapping and singing of spectators. Capoeira has evolved over centuries into an exciting combination of martial arts, dance, acrobatics, and live music.

What style of art would be defined as the cover of the Smashing pumpkins mellon collie and the infinite sadnes?

What style of art would be defined as the cover of the Smashing pumpkins mellon collie and the infinite sadness? I really like the artwork within this album and I would like to possibly see where i can find pieces similar. As you can probably tell am not very knowledgable when it comes to art, so any input would be great! Thanks!

I would say it’s American folk art, with kind of a modern influence.
